What to Expect
Fledge! yoga classes are 90 minutes long and always include centering, warm-ups (prataprana), postures (asanas), and final relaxation.
Whenever a new practice is introduced, variations are taught and we explore them to learn to work safely with our selves.
During a class series, you will also be introduced to various breathing practices (pranayama) and the sound of AUM.
What to Bring
Bring a mat and any props you know you will need or that are personal favourites, but do not go out and buy gear just to attend the classes. We will explore the use of props, and emphasis is placed on using what is at hand. We recommend bringing a favourite blanket or two for use during relaxation.
